Here is a great editorial by Ted Morton, former Minister of Energy and Finance for Alberta. His article discusses how continued poor government policy will have huge negative impact on our economy. It’s another example that money and jobs are easily transferrable in today’s competitive market. The Oil and Gas sector is the largest economic engine in Canada and by almost two to one compared to the auto sector and we continue to kill it.
