Troops Violently Crush Dissent In European Streets

With the blessing of the European Union, Spain sent 16,000 troops into the streets to stop people from voting on the independence of its state of Catalonia & Barcelona from Spain. It turned out it, was terrible news for the progressive left.

Balanced Budgets Don't Mean Money Well Spent

A balanced budget would be nice given the rarity of them, but the one thing they won't tell you is how well the money is spent. A quick look at any of the auditor general reports reveal sums of money spent on, ahem, projects that have no redeeming value to the taxpayers on the hook to pay for them.

Both Burnaby & Vancouver City Councils spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on the fight against the Trans - Mountain Pipeline. Their excuse for spending was to inform the public. They did not succeed for here is the long list of key information that was left out.

Politicians concern for poverty and homelessness is touching, however the actions they take are not focused on them. Poverty is not on politicians agenda, a few sighs, maybe a tear or two then it on to rescuing the worlds richest middle class.

Government Sticks It To The Young To Pay The Bills

The Parliamentary Budget office says the Paris agreement will cost our children between $600 - $1800 a year. The older you are, the less you will pay. The CPP is also funded by an intergenerational transfer of wealth as younger citizens will pay more because they will be alive longer. The game is set up so the younger generation will pay substantially more than their elders.
