Canadian Politicians' Mock Outrage Over Trump Tariffs

We don’t have to look outside our borders for protectionist politicians. President Trump’s tariffs are small change compared with interprovincial trade barriers. Despite the over hyped agreement last year between the provinces -  interprovincial trade barriers are costing us billions in economic growth.

Liberals and Democrats who hate Trump will never admit that he is an agent of change. It drives him to ask difficult questions like, "why is the US paying 70% of NATO?" &  "Why does Canada pay less than half, one of the worst in NATO, 23rd out of 27"

Those in Canada who want to protect healthcare & education do not realize that a strong economy is the only way to generate the revenue necessary. Instead these people think there's no limit to the amount & ways they can tax businesses - which is always a negative for the economy and generating the revenue needed.

Polls indicate Canadian want to play tough with Donald Trump. How are they going to do it? First, by continuing to force Canadian families to pay more to ensure a few thousand Quebec Dairy farmers stay very wealthy. Second, expand this "great" idea to other manufactured Canadian goods.
